Overview

Ruinstone is designed to collect as little personal information as possible. The app does not require you to create an account and does not ask you to provide a name, email address, telephone number, or profile information in order to play.

Information processed during online play

If you use an online multiplayer feature, limited technical information may be processed as necessary to establish and maintain the game session. This can include an IP address, basic device or network information, room or session identifiers, and temporary gameplay data.

This information is used only to provide, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot online gameplay.

Information you submit for support

If you contact us through the support form, we receive the email address, message, topic, and any device details you choose to provide. This information is used only to respond to your request, investigate problems, and improve Ruinstone.

The support form is processed by Formspree, which receives and delivers the submission to us. You can learn more in Formspree's Privacy Policy.

Advertising and sale of data

Ruinstone does not sell personal information and does not use personal information for targeted advertising. The app does not include third-party advertising SDKs.

Third-party service providers

Technical hosting, networking, infrastructure, and support-form providers may process limited information on our behalf when providing online or support features. This includes Formspree when you voluntarily submit the support form. Such providers are expected to handle information in accordance with applicable privacy and security requirements.

Data retention

Temporary gameplay and session information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate online features. Limited technical logs may be retained for a short period for security, reliability, and troubleshooting purposes, after which they are deleted or anonymised where appropriate.

Support requests may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, investigate an issue, maintain support records, or meet legal obligations.

Your choices and deletion requests

Because Ruinstone does not require a user account, there may be little or no information that can be directly associated with you. If you believe information relating to you has been retained, or if you wish to make a privacy or deletion request, contact us using the email address below.

Children's privacy

Ruinstone does not knowingly request or collect personal information from children. The support form is not intended for children to use on their own; children should ask a parent or guardian to contact us for them. If we become aware that personal information from a child has been collected unintentionally, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated if Ruinstone's features or data practices change. Any revised policy will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
